This garlic cheese ball recipe is a great idea if you are planning a party. Or if are you going to a party and you need to bring an appetizer recipe to pass.

I have been making this for party's or just for family movie nights for some time now. It is always a crowd-pleaser.

Did I mention it's easy to make?

What you will need for this garlic cheese ball recipe is. Cream cheese that's room temperature so it's easy to mix with the other ingredients.

One jar of Old English and Roka Blue Cheese Spread. I love the flavor the blue cheese spread adds to this recipe.

Garlic Powder and finely chopped pecans.

That's all the ingredients now it's time to make the ball.

How to make the classic cheese ball

Having the cream cheese at room temperature helps with mixing the other ingredients together. I normally will set the cream cheese out about 15 minutes before I'm going to make the cheese ball.

In a large bowl add the cream cheese.

Add a jar of each of Old English Cheese Spread and Roka Blue Cheese Spread. These cheese spreads can be found in the refrigerated cheese section at your grocery store, I use the Kraft brand.

Add the garlic powder and mix all the ingredients together, I use my hand mixer for this. Mix until all the ingredients are combined.

When everything is mixed together, place cheese ball on saran wrap and form into a ball shape. Wrap the ball up in the saran wrap and place in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Placing the cheese ball into the freezer helps to firm the ball up enough to add the chopped pecans.

While the cheese ball is in the freezer I chop the pecans. Making sure to chop the pecans finely.

After the cheese ball has been in the freezer for 20 minutes I remove it from the saran wrap and place it on a plate.

I then add the chopped pecans to the ball by pressing the pecans into the cheese ball with my hand.

Refrigerate until needed then serve with your favorite crackers.

I hope you enjoy this Garlic Cheese Ball recipe as much as we do.
