Ingredients Needed
Like a traditional salsa, this recipe has fresh cilantro and jalapeno pepper in it. Along with fresh blueberries, red onion, red pepper, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a sprinkling of salt.
How To Make
Not only is this fruit salsa recipe easy to make but can be ready for dipping into within minutes.
Start with chopping the red onion and red bell pepper into chopped pieces that will be easy for scooping. When it comes to the jalapéno pepper I like to dice mine finely to help the spicy pepper blend in better. If you prefer bigger pieces that will work.
Fresh cilantro really brings in a lot of flavor, we do prefer that the cilantro is finely minced up so there are small pieces in every bite.
When it comes to the fresh blueberry we are going to do two things with them. Some we will leave whole while the rest we will chop up a little bit. I do recommend chopping the blueberries up last that way they don't turn brown. Or you could squeeze a bit of lime juice on the blueberries.
Now you could make this in the food processor but I prefer to have this a bit of a chunky salsa.
