Our gumbo burger recipe is a loose meat sandwich that uses gumbo soup that brings in added flavor. Whether it's a busy weeknight or a relaxing night on the weekend. These Gumbo burgers are sure to please hungry bellies.

How to make Gumbo Burgers

These burgers are great because they are not a very costly meal to make for your family or even for a crowd.

I start by browning ground beef in a large fry pan. While the ground beef starts to brown I season it. If you have followed the blog then you know two of my go-to seasoning are black pepper, and seasoning salt, I also seasoned with garlic and onion powder.

Once the ground beef is fully cooked (make sure there is no pink meat) I drain the fat drippings from the burger.

Campbell's Chicken Gumbo Soup

Now that the ground beef is fully cooked it's time to add the Cambell's Chicken Gumbo Soup. I also add a splash of Worcestershire sauce in at this time. Worcestershire sauce helps to enhance the ground beef flavor.

On low heat simmer the ground beef and soup mixture for five minutes or until completely heated through. Serve on your favorite type of burger buns.

My family loves this recipe served along with my Potato Salad or even my Macaroni Salad.

For busy nights in our home, these Gumbo Burgers or my Sloppy Joes recipe is my go-to recipe for a quick family dinner

We hope you enjoyed this simple gumbo burger recipe.
