Garlic herb butter is simple to make and only takes a few minutes to make. Once the butter is made it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two months. There are many ways to store this butter. I like to roll the butter up in parchment paper and then wrap plastic wrap around it. Twist the ends closed to form a log shape and place in the fridge. This will give me a log of butter that can be sliced and added to recipes. Of course, placing this compound herb butter in butter molds would also work.
If you want to use it as a spread then you may want to take it out of the refrigerator to come to room temperature. Softened butter will definitely spread on bread much easier.
