Quick and easy meals are what life calls for sometimes. This Quick Old Fashion Goulash is one of my top favorite recipes for busy nights or for those nights that comfort food sounds best.
Another quick go-to meal of mine is this Simple Perfect Chili Recipe.
How To Make Simple Goulash

What I love about this recipe is not only is it a classic recipe but a recipe that can be done in 30 minutes from start to finish.
I start out by putting water on to boil for the elbow noodles in a large saucepan.
While the water is boiling I'll fry the ground beef that I have added diced onion and minced garlic too. My favorite seasoning to use on most meats is Lawry's seasoning salt and pepper.
Making sure that the meat is all the way cooked, I will drain the fat off. I normally have a can that is under the kitchen sink for my fat drippings, that way it's not going down the drain and causing problems.
Once the water has come to a boil add the elbow noodles to the water, cooking until done. Drain the noodles into a colander then place the noodles back into the pot.
Having the noodles cooked it's time to add the ground beef, canned tomatoes, and tomato sauce into the pot with the noodles. Stir everything together and simmer on medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
Making sure to stir it now and again so everything can heat through and so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot.

When all the ingredients are heated through, it's time to serve. Grab a bowl and fill it up with this mouthwatering delicious goulash.
To kick up this classic Goulash recipe up a little you could sprinkle some cheddar cheese on top of it.
This Quick Old Fashion Goulash to me is comfort food at its best, and being that it's quick to make makes it a favorite recipe of mine for busy nights.
