Ingredients

  • 1 Package Yellow Cake Mix Plus the ingredients to make the cake
  • 2 3.4 Ounce Instant Cheesecake Pudding Plus the ingredients to make the pudding
  • 4 Cups Fresh Strawberries
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 16 Ounces Cool Whip Thawed

Instructions

  1. Make the cake according to the back of the package. Bake in a 9x13 cake pan.

  2. Once the cake has baked and is cooled cut into squares.

  3. In a bowl make the pudding according to the package. Set aside

  4. Wash the strawberries in cold water then cut the tops of the strawberries off.

  5. Slice the berries and place into a bowl.

  6. Sprinkle the sugar onto the sliced strawberries. Using a potato masher mash the berries up. I left my berries with some chunks to them. Set the bowl aside.

  7. In a trifle dish or large bowl add a layer of cake to the bottom of your dish.

  8. On top of the cake add a layer of the mashed strawberries.

  9. The next layer will be the pudding.

  10. On top of the pudding add a layer of the thawed Cool Whip

  11. Repeat the steps of adding cake, strawberries, pudding, and cool whip.

  12. Enjoy!
