Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Chocolate I used baking chocolate chips
  • 1 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 5-6 Cupa Rice Cereal
  • 1-2 Cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. In a microwave safe bowl melt together the chocolate and peanut butter. Heat for 30 seconds then stir until smooth. May need to heat longer to get all melted.

  2. In a larger bowl add 3 cups of cereal, pour chocolate mixture onto cereal. Stir the cereal to coat evenly with chocolate.

  3. Add another 1 cup of cereal at a time. Doing 1 cup at a time will allow you to have evenly coated cereal. You want the cereal to be evenly coated with the chocolate, don't add too much cereal.

  4. Let sit and chill for 10 minutes. Placing it in the fridge is a great idea, just don't chill for too long. The chocolate will harden then the powdered sugar won't stick to it.

  5. With the cereal cooled add 1 cup of powdered sugar onto the cereal. Stir to coat the chocolate covered cereal with powdered sugar. Add another cup if the cereal isn't nicely coated. I like to sift off any extra powdered sugar by placing the puppy chow into a calendar.

  6. Let set for another 10 minutes, store in an airtight container for up to a week.
