Caramel apple dump cake recipe is an easy dessert that is made from apple pie filling, caramel bits, yellow cake mix, and melted butter.
Preheat oven to 350℉. Spary a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spary.
Empty the 2 cans of apple pie filling into the the prepared baking dish. Spread the pie filling evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle the cup of caramel bits on top of the apple pie filling.
Pour the dry yellow cake mix over the apple pie filling and caramel bits. Spread the cake mix as evenly as possible over the apple pie filling. I like to use the back of a spoon to spread the dry cake mix evenly.
Melt the butter or margarine in a microwave safe bowl until completly melted. Pour the melted butter onto the cake mix. Making sure that the butter covers every inch of the cake mix. I like to move the baking dish around to help the butter coat the cake mix.
Place into the 350℉ preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes. Or until the center of the dessert is done.
Let set to cool for 5 minutes then serve warm with a scoop of ice cream and a drizzle of caramel syrup. Enjoy
