Crispy sourdough bread that is coated with garlic-herb compound butter then stuffed with cheese. This crack bread is filled with flavor.
Preheat oven to 400℉
In a mixing bowl combine the mozzarella, parmesan cheese, and the Italian seasoning. Set bowl aside.
Slice the bread vertically and horizontally to form 1-inch cubes. Making sure not to cut all the way through to the bottom of the bread.
Place bread on a sheet pan that is lined with foil or a silicone liner.
Using a bread knife or offset spatula spread the herb butter with garlic in between the sliced cubes of bread. Try to cover each side of the cubes with the butter spread.
Stuff the cheese into the cracks of the bread and sprinkle a bit on top.
Cover with foil place into the preheated 400℉ oven for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until the center is warm and cheese is bubbly.
Herb butter with garlic recipe is what we used. You could mix room temperature butter with garlic powder.
