A moist citrus pound cake with a sweet lemon glaze.
Preheat oven to 350℉
In a large mixing bowl add the melted butter and sugar. Mixing until the sugar is desolved into the butter.
Add the eggs into the melted butter mixture and mix.
Beat in the lemon juice and vanilla extract.
Slowly add the flour until all is is combine into the batter.
Add the 7-UP and mix until all the ingredients are combined.
Pour into a 9-inch bundt cake pan.
Place into a 350℉ oven and bake for 60 minutes or until done.
Let cool for 10 minutes before flipping onto a cake stand.
Add the powdered sugar into a medium-size mixing bowl.
Add the lemon juice, 7-UP, and the option lemon zest. Mix all these ingredents together until the glaze is smooth.
Pour the glaze over the cooled cake that has been flipped out onto a cake stand.
Let glaze set up before serving.
