Crockpot Mississippi chicken is a moist chicken breast dinner that is quick and easy to put together. Loaded with flavor from the ranch dressing mix, the chicken gravy mix, butter, and pepperoncini.
Place chicken breast into the bottom of the crockpot. Pour the chicken broth into the crockpot.
Sprinkle the top of the chicken with the chicken gravy, ranch dressing mix, and black pepper.
Add the butter on top of the chicken breast along with the banana peppers and some of the juice from the jar.
Place the lid on the crockpot and set it to low for 6 hours.
Once fully cooked shred the chicken using two forks. Serve over mashed potatoes or pasta.
I used ½ cup of chicken broth for this Mississippi chicken recipe and felt it was plenty. But if you want more use 1 cup.
