Crockpot potato and ham soup is a creamy hearty soup that is loaded with tender vegetables.
Into the crockpot add the potatoes, onion, carrots, celery, minced garlic, ham, pepper, and chicken broth. Set crockpot to cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
Once the soup has cooked use a potato mashed to mash the potatoes a bit. Leave some chunks of potatoes.
Mix in the all purpose flour until combined. Then mix in the sour cream, and heavy cream until all are combined.
Place the lid back on the crockpot and cook on high for 15 minutes to allow the soup to thicken.
When it comes to the potatoes you could always add more potatoes and not mash as many up if you would like. Our family doesn't like a lot of potatoes nor do we like as many chunks.
The nutritional value may vary depending on the ingredients used.
