Place 20-25 Oreos into a plastic ziplock bag, and crush them into a crumble. Set crushed Oreos aside.
Into a large bowl or stand mixing bowl add in the room temperature cream cheese. Beat until smooth.
Add in the vanilla extract, blend until combined.
Slowly add in the powered sugar blend until combined and all the lumps are gone.
Carefully fold in the thawed cool whip.
Fold in the crushed Oreos until all are combined. Cover the dip with plastic wrap, place in the fridge for 1 hour.
Place the Oreo dip into a serving bowl and top with remaining Oreos that you crushed.
Serve with fresh strawberries, vanilla wafers, or graham crackers.
