
Instant Pot Pork Ribs that are seasoned with a dry rub cooked in apple juice for even more flavor. The coated in bbq sauce and baked to a delightful crispiness.
In a small bowl mix the seasonings together. Set aside.
To remove the membrane from the ribs start at a corner. Using a butter knife slip under the membrane to loosen the skin from the bone. Sometimes you only need your fingers to get the skin loosened from the bones. Once the skin loosened pull the membrane off with your hands.
Season both sides of the ribs with the seasonings.
Add the apple juice into the inner pot of your Instant Pot along with trivet.
Place the ribs into the inner pot onto the trivet. You will have to fold them a little to get them in.
Place lid on IP and turn the release valve to sealing.
Press the high-pressure button and adjust the cooking time to 20 minutes. It will take about 5-20 minutes for the IP to come to pressure.
Once the 20 minute cooking time is done do a natural release for 10 minutes. See notes for what natural release means.
After 10 minutes turn release valve to remove any pressure there might still be. Remove the lid from the IP.
You can sever now or you can coat them with your favorite bbq sauce. Place into a 400℉ oven for 15 minutes to add a little crispiness to them.
2 Cups Apple Juice if using an 8-quart Instant Pot.
A natural release is when you let it set on its own without doing anything to the IP.
