These easy to make chocolate chip cookies with walnuts are the perfect balance of sweet and nutty flavors with a bit of crispiness to them.
Preheat oven to 375 ℉ and prepare cookie sheet pan with either spraying with nonstick cooking spray or use silicone sheet pan liners.
Into a medium size mixing bowl sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer cream together the crisco, butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Once the sugar mixture is light and fluffy add one room temperature in at a time. Once both eggs are combined add in the vanilla extract.
Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
Once the cookie dough is all combined use a rubber spatula to mix in the semi sweet chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, and walnuts.
Using a large cookis scoop or a large tablespoon scoop the cookie dough out onto the prepared sheet pans. Flatten the cookie dough with the back of the cookie scoop or leave mounded.
Place cookie sheet pan into preheated oven bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges of cookies are golden brown. The mounded cookies may take longer to bake then the flattened cookies.
Remove from oven and allow to cool on cookie sheet pan for 5 minutes then place on a wire cooling rack.
