Classic Margarita With Fresh Lime Juice

A simple yet classic Margarita cocktail recipe that's made with tequila, triple sec, simple syrup, and lime juice.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Ice
  • 2 Ounces Silver Tequila
  • ½ Ounce Triple Sec
  • ½ Ounce Simple Syrup
  • 1 ½ Ounces Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 2 Lime wedges
  • 1 Tablespoon Course Salt

Instructions

  1. In a shaker add the ice, tequila, triple sec, simple syrup, and fresh-squeezed lime juice. Shake until you feel the ingredients are mixed together and the drink is chilled enough for you.

  2. Cut half of the lime into wedges, run a wedge around the rim of a margarita glass. Getting enough of the juice on the rim.

  3. On a plate add the coarse salt, dip the glass in the salt. Getting the salt all around the rim.

  4. Pour the shaker ingredients into the prepared Margarita glass. Garnish with the extra lime wedge and enjoy.
