Once olive oil is heated add onion. Sauté onion until almost translucent.
Add the garlic into the Instant Pot. Continue to sauté garlic and onion until the onion is translucent and you can smell the strong aroma of the garlic.
Turn the sauté button off the Instant Pot
Into the Instant Pot add the crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, fresh parsley, sugar and the Italian Seasoning
Stir all the ingredients together until all is combined.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot, make sure to close your steam release handle.
Turn Instant Pot on to high pressure for 10 minutes
When the 10 minutes turn the steam release handle to venting to release all the steam from cooking. Once all the steam is released the float valve will drop down and you can remove your lid.
Make sure to stir all your ingredients together really well. The tomato paste will settle to the bottom of your pot and cause the Instant Pot to say burn.
The nutritional value may vary depending on the ingredients used.
