Pepperoni pizza dip is made with three kinds of cheeses, a blend of seasonings, pizza sauce, and mini pepperonis.
Preheat oven to 350℉, and prepare a baking dish. by spraying it with cooking spray. I used an 8x5 oval baking dish but a 9 inch pie plate would also work. Baking time may vary depending on the size of the baking dish.
In a medium bowl combine the room temperature cream cheese, 1 ⅓ cups of mozzarella, fresh parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
Spread the cream cheese mixture into your preferred size baking dish. Making sure to spread in an even layer.
Coat the top of the cream cheese mixture with pizza sauce.
Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese. Top the mozzarella cheese with mini pepperonis.
Place into the preheated 350℉ oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pizza dip is bubbly and the cream cheese mixture is heated through.
Serve with baguette slices, pita chips, bread sticks, tortilla chips, or garlic bread.
I prefer to add all the fresh parmesan cheese to the cream cheese mixture. However, you could reserve some to add to the top of the pepperoni.
In replacement of mini pepperoni, you could cut regular sized pepperonis up into bite sized pieces.
