Are you after a Farmhouse Style look for your front porch this Christmas season? Grab a cup of coffee or your preferred beavage and take a tour of my front porch with me.

At first, I was struggling with our front door. The garland was up around the door but it wasn't giving me the look I wanted. I had one wreath on the door but it still wasn't looking right.
Changing the wreath was what I needed to do, so I came up with this wreath. The bow I made using my Pro Bow The hand bow maker, I used three different types of ribbon in this bow.
Taking the red from the bow and the sign I added these cute silver and red picks. Don't you just love how the silver looks like tree branches and then the red bulbs really pop out at you?
A red poinsettia helped to balance the wreath along with more of the silver and red picks.
I thought that this wreath looked like something that might be on a Farmhouse front door, but with a little modern twist to it.
Christmas Door Decorations
Around the door, I used evergreen garland. I had a couple of evergreens picks that I placed at the top of the door along with another poinsettia pick.
Using the red ribbon that is used in the bow I added some to both sides of the door.
Adding eight more of the silver and red bulb picks around the door helped to tie into the wreath.
The large bulbs at the top corners of each side of the door add a little Christmas charm.
Once I had everything around the door done there was still something missing. Last year I did little pine trees on both sides of the door, you can find this in Christmas Home Tour Part One. But this year I wanted to change it up.
Normally the wood crates are stacked between the rockers. In the summer I place a potted flower on top for decorations.
Inside of the crate is a black lantern. This is sitting on more evergreen picks with red berries to tie into the red on the door. By adding the little tree to the top of the crate gave it a nice finished look.
I thought this antique sled would be something that you might find on a farmhouse porch. It fit perfectly with the rest of the door decorations. By using items I already had helped to keep the cost of decorations down.
Christmas Porch Ideas
Around the pillars, we used garland but also added Christmas lights. Attached to the front windows I added two wreaths that have the same ribbon used around the door.
The rockers were blending in with all the white so I added two red blankets. With adding the blankets onto the rocking chairs. It also adds a bit of warmth and coziness to the famrhouse Christmas porch.
We had a winter storm the night before I took this picture. I think the snow complements the Farmhouse Christmas look I was going after.
Hope you enjoyed the tour of my front porch~ Jenny
