Instant Pot with a measuring cup of rice spilling our of it. Another measuring cup with chicken broth in it. And the words How to make wild rice in an instant pot.

Have you ever wondered how to make rice in an Instant Pot? In this post, I will show you how I make rice using the auto button on an Instant Pot.

I will admit it, just up until a few months ago, I was feeding my family instant white rice. The name says connivance and that's about all it really was. With hopes of eating healthier,

I have tried making brown rice instead of white rice for my family. However, we have never liked the taste of brown rice. Quite frankly I wasn't liking the taste of the white rice either.

Then I found this Royal blend that makes me feel like I'm feeding my family a healthier rice.

How to make Rice in the Instant Pot

One day while I was grocery shopping I spotted this royal blend rice. Thinking that it would be great for my Chicken and Rice that I make in my Instant Pot.

My family even all made compliments on how good the rice tasted. That made me decide to try just making it in my Instant Pot as a side dish. I haven't made rice any other way since.

Not all Instant Pots have the rice button as mine does. So for me, all I have do is push the button and the timer will start. If your Instant Pot doesn't have a rice button no worry.

All you have to do is set the manual timer to 12 minutes and make sure the low-pressure button is pressed. Don't forget to close the steam valve or your IP will never come to pressure.

When the cooking time is done I will normally let the IP do a 5-minute natural release. This helps ensure that all the rice is tender and turns out perfectly every time.

This rice goes really well with most dishes but I like serving it with baked chicken or fish. It's perfect in my Chicken and Rice recipe as well.

Thank you, I have never had a rice cooker so I don't know if it compares to doing it this way. I hope you like how the rice turns out for you.
