Punch bowl filled with the punch and the words Grinch Punch at the bottom left corner of the picture.

Nothing says the Christmas season like a nice glass of Grinch punch. This green punch recipe is made with lime sherbert, green berry rush Hawaiian punch, and 7-Up. This refreshing punch is simple to put together and serves a crowd.

When the kids were younger we started Christmas family movie nights. Depending on the movie I will try and make dinner and dessert that is themed to the movie.

One of our family's favorite Christmas movies is The Grinch that stole Christmas. I have found many ideas for dinner and dessert to go with this movie, but this punch has always been a huge hit with my kids.

Not only do the kids enjoy this Grinch punch recipe. But it is super easy to make and very festive.

How to Make Grinch Punch

Class punch bowl with ladle.

Whenever I make any kind of punch I get my punch bowl out, the kids have always found it fun to pour themselves a glass using the ladle. To the bowl, I first add the lime sherbet. I normally will let it set out on the counter for a little bit to thaw out some.

Then I just add the whole container in at a time, the sherbet will break up from the juice and 7Up but you can break it up if you prefer. Pouring 4 cups of Hawaiian Punch green berry rush and 4 cups of 7Up over the sherbet will help break the sherbet down a little.

The carbonation from the 7Up hits the shertbet it makes the punch a bit foamy. The foaming and the sherbet are a huge hit with my kids.

Prepping The Glass

This step is optional but I always found the kids enjoyed having the rim of their punch glass decorated.

Glass being dipped into lime juice.

To prepare the glass I dipped the rim of the glass into lime juice. This will help the decorative sugar stick to the rim of the glass. Or you could take a fresh lime and slice it in half to coat the rim of the glass. I always use whatever I have on hand.

red sugar being sprinkled around a glass that is over a white plate.

With the rim coated in lime juice, I shook the festive red sugar around the rim of the glass. You could also use decorative Christmas sprinkles.

I thought it made the punch a little more fun for the kids. And they seemed to really enjoy it.

Whether for your next family Christmas movies night or for that Grinch party you may be throwing.

This Grinch Punch is sure to please everyone even The Grinch himself.

I hope your kids enjoy this Grinch Punch as much as mine do. My Creative Manner is answering the question what's there to drink with this simple to make Grinch Punch recipe, ~ Jen
