Making this homemade creamer is so easy here is a list of the simple ingredients that you will need. Along with what they do for this homemade pumpkin spice creamer recipe and any substitutions that can be made.

  • Milk gives the homemade creamer that creaminess. I used whole milk but you could use skim milk, half and half, heavy cream, almond milk, soy milk, or oat milk.
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk adds a bit of sweetness and helps to thicken the pumpkin spice creamer.
  • Pumpkin Puree brings that pumpkin flavor to the homemade creamer. Make sure to use pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie filling for this recipe.
  • Vanilla Extract enhances the overall flavor of the pumpkin spice creamer. I used my homemade bourbon vanilla extract recipe. You could use vanilla beans, vanilla pasta, pure maple syrup, or almond extract.
  • Pumpkin pie spice brings that warm spicy flavor to creamer. We have a wonderful homemade pumpkin pie spice blend that works great for this recipe.

It's pumpkin spice season so let's whip up a batch of homemade coffee creamer with pumpkin flavor. Into a small saucepan add in the milk and sweetened condensed milk.

Cook this over medium heat to warm the milks together. Keep stirring that way the milk doesn't scorch. Once you have the milks warmed together add in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract.

Cook these ingredients together for 2 minutes, continually stirring. Remove the saucepan from the heat, pour into a mason jar, and cover with a lid. Allow the pumpkin spice coffee creamer to cool slightly at room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator until completely cool.
