White bowl filled with beef tips and gravy.

Instant Pot Beef tips are made in a brown gravy sauce. Serve over eggs noodles for a complete meal. This recipe is a quick and easy dinner idea for busy weeknights.

In the last couple of months, I have been working on mastering making my beef tips recipe in my Instant Pot. This recipe has been a family favorite for some time.

So I thought why not master making it in my Instant Pot. Not sure about you all but I love my Instant Pot so one more great recipe to make using my IP wouldn't hurt.

A side salad or your favorite type of veggies makes for a complete family meal in no time.

How To Make Beef Tips An Instant Pot

Start by getting your Instant Pot out, add 2 cups of water into the inner cooking pot. One of my favorite cooking products right now is Better Than Bouillion, there are so many flavors to choose from.

For this recipe, I used the roasted beef flavor.

Mixing the bouillon and Worcestershire sauce into the water. I then add a packet of savory pot roast seasoning and cornstarch, making sure to mix this well so there are no clumps.

After seasoning the stew meat with black pepper and salt add it into the inner cooking pot.

For added flavor, I like to add minced garlic and sliced onion and mushrooms. These are optional, however, I find these ingredients add to the flavor of the beef tips.

Place the lid onto your Instant Pot, using the pressure cooker button and making sure it's set to high pressure. Set for 20 minutes of cook time.

Easy Beef Tips and Gravy Recipe

Once the 20 minutes are done you have beef tips with a deliciously rich brown gravy. This beef tips recipe is great for the cold fall and winter nights when all you want is comfort food.

We like our beef tips and gravy served over egg noodles, but it would also be great served over mashed potatoes or rice.

Hope your family enjoys this recipe as much as mine does.~ Jenny

Cut recipe in half since there is just two of us. Only other difference was I browned meat first for the extra flavor. This dish was Excellent. Will be making it again. BTW: it's amazing how tender the meat gets in only 20 minuets in the pressure cooker.
