Baked chicken feta pasta on a plate with broccoli.

Baked feta pasta with chicken is a delicious dinner recipe. Fresh cherry tomatoes and feta cheese are seasoned with a blend of seasonings then oven-roasted. Mixed together with pasta and chicken breast for a complete dinner recipe.

Make this Chicken Feta Pasta tonight for a delicious meal with the family.

Have you seen that famous TikTok pasta recipe that is going around? I recently found myself in deep watching TikTok videos.

Feta pasts on a plate with Brussel sprouts.

When I saw the feta pasta recipe I knew I could make it a little better. And sure enough, this delicious recipe has been a hit with my family.

Feta Pasta

When I saw the TikTot feta pasta recipe I knew I had to try it and it did not disappoint. Rightfully delicious in its own carb overload I felt it needed a little protein to balance it off. That's where the chicken breast comes into play.

This isn't one of my normal easy clean-up recipes since it was made in three different cooking dishes. But it's so worth the extra dishes and can be made in a little over 30 minutes. Making it a 30-minute meal and I love those types of recipes.

First image is of cherry tomatoes in baking dish, the next is olive oil being poured over top of the tomatoes. The third is with onions added onto the tomatoes, and the last is with garlic added on top of the onions.

To get started with this recipe I put a pot of water on to boil and then cooked the pasta according to the back of the package. As the water was boiling for the pasta, I prepared the tomatoes and feta cheese.

In a 9x13 baking dish, I added the tomatoes, most of the olive oil, onions, and minced garlic. As I mention I used most of the olive oil, some of it I reserved to go on top of the cheese.

First image is a dish with basil, oregano, and parsley being added into the tomatoes. The next is a dish that has pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes that are going in with the tomatoes. The third is with the feta cheese add and the last is olive oil going to be poured onto the cheese.

Next, I sprinkled in oregano, parsley, basil, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Now the pepper flakes you can leave out if you like. They bring a little spicy heat to this feta pasta dish.

Or if you like a little more spice by all means add more. That is what I love about cooking, adjusting a recipe to make it your own.

Once the tomatoes were seasoned I gave everything a quick stir. Placed the feta cheese in the middle of the baking dish. Then poured the remaining olive oil on top of the cheese. Placed into a 400℉ oven for 30 minutes.

As the tomatoes roast, they will become tender and split open. Once the roasting time is over I like to use a potato masher to mash the tomatoes and cheese up.

This helps get out the juices of the tomatoes and breaks down the cheese. Making it easier to mix in the pasta.

Mixing In Chicken

Adding chicken to this feta pasta makes it even better. As the water for the pasta is boiling and then the pasta is cooking I start preparing the chicken and start cooking it.

I cut up chicken breast into bite-size cubes and fried it in a skillet that was coated in olive oil. Having a hot skillet before adding the chicken in helps brown the meat.

Chicken cubes in a skillet.

I decided to pan-fry the chicken to give it more flavor. You could add the raw chicken into the baking dish with the tomatoes and feta. Since I didn't do that I'm not sure if this would change the roasting time or not.

Once the cherry tomatoes and feta cheese have been roasted in the oven. I like to take a potato masher and mash these ingredients up some.

The roasted tomatoes will pop open and create a rich flavorful juice to help coat the pasta with.

I also find that using the potato masher on the feta cheese helps it mix in with the pasta and chicken better. After I mash the tomatoes and cheese with the masher I will then add in the pasta and chicken.

What Goes With Baked Feta Patsa

Gently stir all the ingredients together making sure to get the tomatoes and feta cheese stirred in well. You want the pasta to have a nice coating from the feta as well as from the roasted tomatoes.

Even though I used a 9x13 baking dish the pasta still wanted to go over the sides of the dish as I was mixing. I call those taste testers for the cook.

This simple chicken feta pasta recipe makes a great carb-filled meal so I like to serve our oven-roasted Brussel Sprouts with it for a complete meal. Asparagus, side salad, or garlic bread would go great with this pasta dish.
